Enterprise social network developer Jive had reason to celebrate this week. The company came away from Morgan Stanley's 13th annual CTO Summit held on Wednesday with the prestigious CTO Award for Innovation.

The award is chosen based upon the company that Morgan Stanley believe have made an outstanding contribution to innovation, and specifically to the Morgan Stanley business.

Jive CEO Tony Zingale was present at the ceremony to accept the award.

"It is an honor to be recognized by Morgan Stanley for our ongoing efforts to fundamentally change the way work gets done," Zingale said. "We constantly push ourselves to enhance and innovate the product experience, challenge the status quo and deliver real business value when it comes to the way companies communicate and collaborate internally and externally with their customers and partners. The 'CTO Award for Innovation' is further validation of Jive's disruptive impact on the market."

The CTO Summit is an invitation-only event that unites leading venture capitalists, key executives from established and emerging technology companies, and senior technologists from Morgan Stanley's own IT organization for solution briefings, strategic discussions and focused networking.
