The Red Book, also known as the OpenGL Programming Guide published by Addison-Wesley Professional, returns in its sixth edition with additions covering OpenGL 2.1. The Red Book, so called because of its nice, red cover, is probably the most-well known, standard introduction to the OpenGL graphics API. Let me take you on a tour through the pages of this book to see what it has to offer.

Fair and good review. If you consider to buy this book you should also look at the OpenGL Superbible, which hash just been released in its fourth edition. I'm my opinion the Superbible contains the same information as the OpenGL Programming Guide and it easier to read. I own a copy of both books.

I also own both books (and many other OpenGL books). The Red Book is the best OpenGL book and the SuperBible is by far the worst OpenGL book (and one of the worst books I have ever read).
