It’s around 1pm and having decided that I do not want to start on real work yet, I’m taking a look at another workshop/lab assignment for this semester’s C++ course. This lab covers templates which are useful for data structures such as linked lists and hash-tables. They are available only for statically-typed languages since dynamically typed languages allow functions to be called with any type of argument. Apparently, D makes dealing with templates nicer and we’ll see how that works.
