No Mention of Java 6 on Leopard Features Page
So Apple has put out a page highlighting the 300+ new features Leopard will have. As I scan through this page, one word I’m particularly keen on is only mentioned once. That word is Java. It is only mentioned in DTrace section where it talks about how DTrace can monitor Java code.

Where does that mention Java 6?

But who needs Java on the desktop anyway?

I would like to buy a macbook, but I am very concerned about java support because it's what I do all day - write java apps.

There is Java 5, and that works fine... And there is a preview of Java 6, but it's infrequently updated...
Sun needs to get their finger out, and open up the JDK properly then someone else can pick up the Java on the Mac baton, as it's obviously too much trouble for Apple to keep it updated...
