Almost 3 years after the release of Java 7, yesterday saw the release of JDK 8, bringing with it a bunch of new features like lambda expressions, a new date and time API, a Base 64 API and additional support for parallelisation. Rather than going over the details again, here’s a few ways to celebrate!
