Let's be reasonable, this outsourcing business doesn't necessarily want good programmers. As a side note, AFA Indian outsourcing is concerned, there's more to outsourcing than just software development and maintenance, the bigger beast that Indian market still controls is called BPO and That's not going to end till Chinese learn to speak English.

imho, it's not going to end in two years. what might rather happen in the next 2/3 years is that market compulsions will weed out the less committed players. quality is going to be a significant factor in businesses choosing offshore vendors. and yes, 'Great' is not going to be the adjective used to describe indian outsourcing (and that may be a good thing) :)
