Oh please...the README file is messed up because you're using the frigging Windows Notepad to view a file. Ever heard of Notepad++? gees every programmer should at least know the fact that there are different line separators for different platforms, regardless of whether you never stepped out of the Windows domain.

Also, if you're working on Windows, try ActivePython. And try to follow a book (like Dive into Python) instead of searching for HelloWorld examples, let alone jumping from HelloWorld to hacking an existing project.

A more accurate title should have been "How Hard It Is to Work with Python IDLE for Someone who Knows Nothing but (a limited domain within) Windows"
