Today marks the third milestone release of the Spring Java Configuration project (JavaConfig for short). The release contains numerous bug fixes and new features - I'll highlight a few of the most interesting changes below, but first let me give a quick refresher as to what JavaConfig is all about.

Clarify?
How does someone "take over and control" the Java web development space with an open source framework (...other than by trying to make it the best option, documenting it well, etc.)? And what does this product announcement have to do with them "failing" in this take-over attempt?

Looking at your history, you always throw a lot of Spring hate but you don't do much to state why you don't like them. I would enjoy knowing your reasons.
