I’ve been working on an Object Oriented PHP5 Framework in my spare time since before many of the current frameworks were around, it’s been around 2 years now since I started coding (mainly in my spare time). I’m now considering releasing the code to the world as Open Source (licence undecided as yet) to see what happens but would like some opinions from the PHP Elite.

While having one more framework is probably not "needed" in itself, having one more source of inspiration is always a good thing. I for one will be happy to read the code and see what I can learn from it and reuse on my own projects.

Each of the big frameworks have their own ideas on how to implement things. I'm guessing this one do it differently than all the existing ones.

Skoop, please release it. Even if it's the code only, it'll make for an interesting read.

There's plenty of established frameworks and they are diverse enough to give you whatever you need. No single person can match quality of work and features put into projects like Symfony or Zend. The market has matured to the point where making your own framework is just silly and no one will care about it. If you think you need more for inspiration, you probably have no clue about what's already out there.
