The description comes from Manning, not me, so I'm not too worried. I do find the interest in the wording interesting though.

If you can't think of a way around this, you're not the person I think you are ;) It asks for a first name and an email address. The email address gets verified, but it would need to be valid to collect anyway. Personally I don't consider these extreme in any sense.
