I've always wanted a list of reasons why to switch from php to rails, and so I've tried to write one, being a defected PHP programmer and rails evangelist myself. Dig it!

He's enthusiastic about ROR, and compare it with his previous programming environment, so why bashing him because of that little semantic point !?
I understand him partially (although I don't plan to nor has ever tried ROR), as I switched to pyhton recently.
What I remark here, is how nearly every comments that are ever posted on dzone are about semantics and picky points.
I have to say that I stopped caring about the comments left on dzone. They remind me of linux fan boys trying to boo non linux users.
At least, I have some constructive comments on my blog, contrarily on what I found here.
