Yeah, too many tabs can be bad. It should allow for multiple rows for tabs or maybe even switch to another interface, like a drop down list of your favorite APIs.

Looks really good! Much better than browsing the APIs manually. As a J2ME developer the only thing I think is still missing from the lists would be MIDP APIs. If that's added, this will definately be one of my favorite sites.
