Internet Explorer 6 is always a hot subject of debate. We’ve talked about it here many many times. The forums are full of folks trying to troubleshoot it. The CSS support is problematic and the JavaScript support is proprietary nonsense.

There sure are a bunch of cry babies/arrogant designers in the comments of this article. You can't ignore a significant % of your market just because they use an so-called older browser. IE6 is shit, but so is IE7. I wish I could just design to the standards, but that isn't going to happen. It's getting better, but it will never be 100%.

IE6 doesn't got a significant percentage on many technical sites. On some there are basically no IE users at all (once you filtered out the bots).
