It’s a nice coincidence that I wrote my previous post about a Category for NSManagedObjectContext and that a few hours later Brent Simmons would start a discussion about the use of categories. He got a few follow-ups, for example here, and Daniel Jalkut also twitted about it.
Brent argues he used too many categories in the past and he argues that categories used only once can be replaced by static C-functions
