Adhearsion is an open-source, unconventional framework that ties technologies together neatly. Of these, Adhearsion is most noted as being “adhesion you can hear” for integrating VoIP by building atop the fantastic Asterisk PBX software by Digium.

Hah, I see my project's made it to the DZone homepage. I wasn't accounting on it spreading this soon, but what's done is done. :)

If anyone would like to start trying out Adhearsion or even simply has a question or two, send me a message on any of the following accounts:

I'm totally open to walking users through the process of bootstrapping an Adhearsion project. The amount of documentation available on the wiki is far too little for someone to successfully start using it. I'm working on screencasts, but I don't know that I can release one before this makes it off the homepage.

Again, those interested, send me an instant message! :)

Hehe, I guess *now* it is. I initially put up the website expecting to keep it relatively quiet, but you know how that works. :)

Anyone can download Adhearsion now with "gem install adhearsion". This'll create the "ahn" command with which one manages virtually all of Adhearsion.

Many who read my interview on MindPetals.com saw my statement that Adhearsion is in a "private beta phase" right now, but this no longer applies. It open to everyone now! :)
