That's fine and fun :)
I actually try tracking not only the topics that generate most of positive votes, but also the ones with most negative votes (not sure if I am successful though). It helps to understand which particular aspects of agile (except for nowadays hype status) are actually not easy to accept.

Why do you call it spam? The site is devoted to software development, DZone aggregates the developer links, good ones go to front page, bad once disappear unnoticed. As you see I even put the DZone widget to the site to make the rank visible more explicitly for me and other authors to be more aware what our readers like or don't like.

This particular post is indeed not that much about SW dev. I submitted it here, because, well, I thought heavy DZoners would like to become aware of the DZone expansion.
