OK, you’re a developer for some facebook/linkedIn social networking clone where each user has a bunch of contacts. Of course, a user’s contacts also have contacts, who have contacts etc. What makes your site unique is that you’ve a special “FriendMap” page where you and all your friends and all their friends, etc. are all represented by little circles (or avatars or whatever). The map shows you in the middle with your immediate friends nearest you with a little arrow pointing from your avatar to theirs, then from them to their friends, etc.
