Very powerful and full featured jQuery Grid control. Sorting, column resizing, multiselect, searching/filtering, edit in place, hide/show columns, paging, resizing, master/detail views, subgrids, different back end data source formats, skinable for different looks, etc. Click through and check on the example/demo page.

I don't like this plugin for the same reason I dislike the Flexigrid plugin: your data has to be called from the server as XML or JSON, or provided as a JavaScript array. That's not so cool if the user wants to save the page, or they have JavaScript turned off. It's a shame both of these plugins couldn't just parse and use data from an HTML table as an option.

You're blaming a plugin where you are in fact blaming the whole concept. Do you expect to have a javascript based plugin to work without javascript? Be serious.
And it's a bad practice to import data from a visual control. The shame would be to allow to parse an HTML table.
