thanks for the encouragement, it was a bit hectic this week but hopefully I should get a better and who knows someone might actually email me (hint hint) some IT Stories

The aim of the the blog is to get people to email me their stories. Until that starts to happen then I have to fill up the email a bit with other funny stuff.

The aim of DZone is to collect useful and interesting links for developers, not to help you get trafic and content for your website.

A FAQ is a Frequently Asked Questions list, doesn't really require a computer. Besides if we would use the 'but it is done on a computer' excuse, we would have to allow links about playing World of Warcraft, Online Dating, and a bunch of other things that have nothing to do with development. If you want to post this kind of thing, I suggest you try digg.com.

Yes he is. Pictures of computer nerds with famous singers still have nothing to do with development.

The humor tag is for development/tech related humor (remenber, this is DZone, not digg). By your argument that 'it's humor, so it's ok' we should start posting South Park episodes here too (they even have one about World of Warcraft!).

I find it quite amusing that there is a belief that all the links have to be useful for developers, this is what it says Dzone is about

I think my link is useful and interesting for developers and the fact 400 people clicked on it and it got 5 votes seem's to back up the idea. The second posting would have got the same if it hadn't been hidden.

it doesn't say it has to be useful for developers developing code. There are also many other things which are like this and I think they should stay if they are of interest to developers.

but the powers that be are not of the same opinion just because one item features a spam email which has the words wondercum in. Spam is a fact of life these days and i'm sure every developer has seen it.
