Announcing JBoss Cache - Searchable Edition, an extension on the core cache that adds querying capabilities. This is backed by Hibernate Search and Lucene to index objects as they are put into the cache, and provides an interface with which full text queries can be run to locate objects.
This was done as a Google Summer of Code project by Manik's brother Navin, and Emmanuel Bernard was his mentor! More about 1.0.0.Beta1 of JBCS in Navin's blog.
