This is why I like Google's phones over the iPhone. I recently had a choice between the new iPhone and the myTouch 3G... I chose the 3G. Apple's insecurity is apparent, and has evolved over the course of two decades with PCs dominating the market. Google's just another threat to them, but in reality their decision to do this will only madden people, not keep people happy with their phone. The myTouch ENCOURAGES customization - changing the keyboard, home screen, etc. You can pretty much do whatever you want. This would never happen with Google, if the roles were switched.

After all, at the end of the day, isn't that what apps are all about?? ...changing the user experience from what is presented out of the box?
