Relating to the story, thinking out loud here......are we seeing the beginning of the end of the era of single-homed web hosts? A lot of these new cloud services (Amazon, Google, et. all) are fairly affordable, and if you can get almost guaranteed protection from outages plus the speed boost from regional serving, how can a single-homed, single-racked host compete?
