Aptana would be great if it was not written in Java. It may be the runtimes I'm using, but on my linux box, its is fairly sluggish to use, and on my windows box, downright unbearable.
It makes Visual Studio 2005, which is a pig on resources, seem snappy in comparison. And that is saying a lot.
