Are Google and Facebook Too Big to Fail?
A serious question should come out of the uproar from yesterday's Gmail and Facebook outages: Are certain sites simply too big to fail?

Anyone have any opinions about this? Are these outages small enough that they don't matter? Is it a problem that so many people rely on very few apps/providers for daily functioning?
