The Async-IO development team has broken the news this morning (11am GMT) that Atmosphere Framework has reached 2.0 status So, what’s changed with the next generation of Atmosphere? According to the creators, along with the performance and cache memory improvements that have taken place in the intervening months between the two big releases, the most noticeable developments will be improved memory usage under high loads as well as better WebSocket/fallbacks transport performance. There’s also been a plethora of bug fixing and other fine tuning.
