What part was JEE? JSP? Servlets?
The part where it was for a JEE position.
Then he should have asked more JEE things. Drives me nuts when people say "i do JEE" or it is a "JEE position" and of the group of JEE technologies the only thing they use is servlets and maybe JSPs and that only under the covers. Really? You would have asked this candidate more JEE things? Why? Was it not obvious they were entirely clueless?
Yes, it actually *is* a JEE position: they use JTA, EJB, and JMS at the very least. Of course, you didn't hear the first part of the interview (which wasn't recorded AFAIK), or know anything about the company.
