BitNami Studio, a web application that makes it easy to build customized virtual machine images, Amazon Machine Images (AMIs) and other cloud templates, was just released into beta. BitNami Studio allows developers to pick and choose from an extensive library of software components and operating systems or add their own. A REST-based API and command line tools allow users to create, start and stop images on demand, allowing integration with nightly-build build processes and source control systems.
