Introduced a new ActionListener interface which provides compile time safety, ControlRegistry for two phase listener dispatch and a new resource deployment strategy for packaged resources.

Click has been around for a number of years as can be seen from the roadmap: http://click.sourceforge.net/docs/roadmap-changes.html
Also Click is kind of unique in being a stateless component framework, whereas other component frameworks are stateful.
