Description of an online modeling tool (SaaS) with built-in collaborative capabilities: central repository, model version management control, online discussion between team members... It seems hard to believe but all these aspects, so common for developers, are still a big challenge for designers.

I have no commercial relation at all with the company but I don't really understand why the fact the software is not free deserves a downvote (it is not like Dzone only publishes links on open source software). Also, "almost 5 dollar monthly" does not sound too expensive to me. Basically, it is the price of two or three coffees per month. We pay much more for many other more useless things. If this modeling service can help the company, the price is a great investment (and if not, then the price is irrelevant)

Or you could make your own coffee, then it is the cost of a lot more cups of coffee. Using a french press means that you are only paying for the beans.

On a more serious note, I am surprised that people still actually use UML. I remember trudging though it in University, then never seeing it again after those few classes.

I do not see any XMI export for the UML Diagram which can be a great added value and interest in this kind of application.

True, it's not there but you can vote to support this petition: http://support.creately.com/forums/2832-general/suggestions/208195-export-uml-as-xmi
