The best sites on the internet have pages that are lean and fast. As you move down the scale you see a common problem; BLOAT. Putting a lot of garbage on a page and slowing it down is the worse thing a developer can do; the mark of a wannabe who does not understand how the big sites got to be successful. Just in case case you don't know; successful sites got that way by giving users a pleasant experience. This article will examine ways to avoid the bloat that turns web sites into places to avoid instead of attracting users and business.
