This is a part II about server side processes in CUBRID from "CUBRID Internals" book. In this article the author explains how Processes work in CUBRID Database. This insight article is very interesting as it explains how the API (eg. JDBC) actually established a connection with the server, what processes get involved and in what order. It will be interesting for everybody who is interested in databases.
