This is the best article I've stumbled upon about OAuth. In this article the author, a senior developer at NHN Corporation, explains what OAuth is by providing great real life examples. Also explains how it came to life, which entities rely on it, how one can use it in their own applications, and what the difference between OAuth and no less popular Open ID is. This article is highly recommended for Web and mobile application developers.
