Dear websites! Here are some general rules I’d like you to follow. Please, just to make me happy. It’s not that hard!

Indeed -- if more websites followed these rules, the web would be much more usable.

Especially if more sites followed tip #2. "C'mon, bundle it with a little extra!"

I have to laugh at those individuals who are voting this down. What is it fellas, do you not get it, or do you do it?

I think it starts off a tad too subtle. If you just read point 1, you could get the wrong idea.

I agree. I didn't get it after the first one either.

This is always an issue with attempts at humor in this audience. Some of us are just too darned serious, and we don't recognize irony and humor as quickly as others. IMO, the irony is adequately strong to make any reasonable reader perceive it. I hope that I'm not wrong.

The post was appropriately tagged as humor. What more can you do, Rick? I suppose you could put a big ugly smiley face overlay on the target site thumbnail. That would be nice and guady wouldn't it?

The author perfectly captured the essence of successful Web sites: profitable both for the owner (mostly for him!) and for the reader (the thrill of mystery, unexpected content, etc.). :-)
