This session goes over the basics of touch, including gestures and how they fit into typical UI design and design principles that are specific to the touch experience. For example, we’ll discuss how to size the control in your interface, typical touch navigation patterns and pitfalls such as “gorilla arm”. This session is introductory and is intended primarily for those who have not yet done a touch-based interface.
