Creating or porting your java applications for iPhone is now possible with iSpectrum.
This works without JVM but instead produces a native iPhone app.

the WEB is a strange place: it is HARD to find the price of a product or service.
So I would estimate ISpectrum Pro at 599$.

This would be great...if it works well. Anyone tried it? Looks like you'll still need a Mac though to create the final app.

As said on the site, you can develop with Linux and Windows but "if you want to compile and
obtain an iPhone binary application or an iPhone simulator binary
application, you must have installed the iPhone SDK on a MAC OS X (Intel only) and use FlexyCore iSpectrum on this system".
There are different price rates depending on which API you need and a store
will be launched soon.

Ill would just on this pass and just develop with objective-c, I would hate to start a project, and find out the license is some crazy price. Just put it on the website. But still looks like a cool technology.

i tried to run the sample application using it .. my computer almost froze to death. I have 2 Gigs memory, may be it will work if i have more memory..
main thing is about its price so not sure i will be interested.

Will this be affected by the Apple 3.3.1 license restriction? Looks like it will.
