Being the geek I am, I just wanted to try it out and see how I could use a simple API using Ruby, for use on my Rails site (this one). This is also made in case anyone else wants to do the same. One note, however: I'm only a Ruby / Rails beginner. I'm sure there are much better and efficient ways to do this. Since I haven't dabbled in this too much, and "it works on my machine", I'll leave it as it is for now.
