You don’t need a lot of tools for Django development, but it’s always nice to use an IDE with support for Python, web development tools, SCM support. This post explains how to install and configure Eclipse and 2 Eclipse plug-ins: Aptana and Pydev and how to use these in combination with a virtualenv.
