Dojo is a superb framework. Packed with cool stuff. And still, it misses the most important point - a good widget system. They are far from Ext js with their "pixel-perfect" layouts and good looking UI. Read more on why Dojo lost ground in front of Ext js ...

Unfortunately Ext's license scares me quite a bit - you have the choice of LGPL 3.0 (terrifying) and Corporate ($$$). Can anyone comment on what kind of infection effect LGPL 3.0 has on Open Source projects that include it? I'd like to release some code that's MIT, but include Ext and I wonder if that would be a violation of the license.
