Logging errors, in a standard parsable format, is a simpler, more scalable, and performant approach to error tracking than using the proprietary Raygun service. Integrating with paid Raygun, which requires frequent network calls, makes your app more complex. But refining your logging practices, keeps your app simple and probably improves the overall design. Raygun is aimed at inexperienced developers, who will soon discover it's more trouble than it's worth. Any product whose main marketing point is that it's "awesome", is a silly toy.
