Worthy news, but the tone is both paranoid and conspiratorial. No one who takes an objective look at the Eclipse development process could conclude that IBM has any significant control over anything. Yes, IBM pays the bills for a number of the lead committers, but money doesn't equal power in this case. I can think of myriads of features and design decisions that have been made by the community, sometimes overriding preferences stated by the "IBMers".
