Web usability has improved drastically in the last few years, but old problems persist. Jakob Nielsen and Hoa Loranger identify eight stubborn usability issues in this excerpt from their book Prioritizing Web Usability.

Do not ever change the size or location of the web browser. At least get permission first. I have the browser exactly where I want it on the screen then some web designer decides that he knows better. I don't think so! Good-bye to that web-site!
