In my opinion Jdeveloper does the same stuff easier and without any manual intervention. Backing Bean,faces-config.xml and JSF page (to display query output)are generated automatically. Looks like Oracle’s ADF Library advantage, i.e. IDE ability to generate "Data Control" based on EJB 3.0 Session façade methods,been created either by IDE or manually (for custom queries).
