A couple of days ago I read Martin Fowler's article "ParserFear." In the article, Martin states that developers are afraid of writing their own parsers for external domain-specific languages (DSLs) because we think it is hard. IMHO, Martin is missing the point. Why do we want to create our own external domain-specific language? What are the benefits?
