In an era where managing requirements could seem to be limited to writing user stories with a “as a … I want … so that” format on a post-it, it could be strange to publish a 500 pages book on this topic. However, people that want to go a little bit further on the requirements topic will find a very valuable resource in this book by Suzanne and James Robertson that explore in details the relationship between the IT and business part of software development projects.

This is a book purely on async. It's not a general C# book, and it doesn't even cover the tiny non-async features in C# 5. It's all about asynchrony. As you'd expect, it's therefore pretty short (92 pages) and can comfortably be consumed in a single session. Alex's writing style is informal and easy to read. Of course the topic of the book is anything but simple, so even though you may read the whole book in one go first time, that doesn't mean you're likely to fully internalize it straight away. The book is divided into 15 short chapters, so you can revisit specific areas as and when you need to.

First what was kind of shocking for me was the fact to deal with ShrinkWrap at the end. Ok you can go with Arquillian without ShrinkWrap but it is not natural at all for me.
