Software titan Microsoft has decided on acquiring the Teamprise-related assets owned by SourceGear in order to integrate certain Teamprise Client Suite functionality into its Visual Studio line, the first edition to include that being Visual Studio 2010. The Teamprise tools enable Java developers and those working on multiple operating systems to build their application with Visual Studio Team Foundation Server.

One of the more obscure features introduced in Silverlight 3 is the {RelativeSource} markup extension. It's poorer than its counterpart in WPF because the Silverlight version supports only two modes: Self and TemplatedParent. Magellan was designed to work without an Inversion of Control or Dependency Injection container, to keep it simple and accessible. However, as applications become more complicated, modern WPF applications can benefit immensely from IOC containers. Magellan's extensibility points make using a container easy. Magellan resolves and instantiates two main types of objects - controllers and views. The out of the box implementation uses conventions, but they can be overridden.

I have been looking for a good first layer of validating an url to see if it is valid. For checking the format of the url it seems to me to be the most logical approach to use regular expressions. Up until now I always discarded them as being to “geeky”, meaning i don’t consider it my life’s biggest goal to be typing (/?[]\w) all day long (so why did i become a programmer, aaaah yes to make life easier for other people)

Personally i like using these plugins for development phase of a project in a team because it eliminates the time you spend for running the applications painlessly as soon as checking out the project from it’s code base. But debugging the running code under maven process can be tricky if you don’t know how to.
