Update to HttpClient and Automatic Decompression

Two weeks ago, we published a beta of HttpClient that provides support for automatic decompression. Since then, we’ve received a fair amount of feedback, especially around the fact that it relies on a native implementation of compression that isn’t available on the same platforms as HttpClient. Today, we’ve published another beta of HttpClient that will address those concerns.

The aim of this article is to address the PDF export from client side grid frameworks. The solution is done using the iTextSharp in ASP.NET MVC 4 and Visual Studio 2012. jQGrid is one of the client grid framework built on top of the jQuery framework. It helps in building a beautiful grid with paging, sorting and exiting options. There are also other features available as extension plugins and developers can write their own if needed. Please do a nuget update before running the demo code if you face DLL reference issue. I have enabled nugget restore, hence references will be downloaded and updated during the build.

Today we want to show you how to create some simple, yet stylish hover effects for image captions. The idea is to have a grid of figures and apply a hover effect to the items which will reveal a caption with the title, author and a link button. For some of the effects we will use 3D transforms. The aim is to keep the effects subtle and provide inspiration for many different variations.

Responsive Email Marketing Templates for Mobile Marketing
