Flash 10 will support P2P network and UDP
In the latest beta release of Flash Player 10, Adobe introduced the RTMFP support. This technology will allow P2P communication between players and UDP

Flash developers could do a lot of new things that weren't earlier possible or were too complex to implement. P2P can help multiplayer games as well as filesharing or even group conversations. Good work from Adobe!
