Being a developer isn't always the easy life, you probably know that more than I do. But once in a while people promiss your life will get easier, when you use the updated version of a framework. The new release always comes with a change-list containing all kinds of benefits and fixes. So you would actually start to believe that your life gets easier all the time, with new versions of frameworks popping up. Well, I have to agree that sometimes upgrading will give you major benefits, but you hardly hear anybody talking about the drawbacks a new version has. And sometimes, you get really unlucky. With the drawbacks of a new framework (version) kicking you down, like you can't imagine. So here is what happened and how we @ Think# recovered from it all.
