I don't think mucking around your registry and changing the behavior of the kernel is a great thing to do. Unless you like BSOD's or an unstable system. The best thing you can do to speed up XP (which is pretty fast already) is to upgrade your system. Get a faster HD, buy some more memory, or upgrade your CPU; don't go screwing up your registry as if you know better than the engineers who developed the OS in the first place. It's not like they decided "hey let's slow down everyone's machines by leaving out these THREE magic registry values and make people suffer because that actually makes good business sense." sheesh...
