If it is a useful site, I don't mind self-advertising. The votes will take care of bad content anyway. And the 180 clicks this site currently got will earn him approximately $0.05.
Besides that, the content is really not good. A simple google for e.g. "Ruby book filetype:pdf" will get you much better and more targeted results.
